Zachary Higgins Obituary, Death – In the year 2022, Zachary Turner Higgins passed away on November 9 in the town of Hanson, Kentucky. He was 30 years old and had spent his whole life in the community of Hanson, Kentucky, where he was born and raised. His parents, Doug and Sherry Bennett Higgins, were overjoyed to welcome their first child into the world on November 25th, 1991, in the town of Madisonville, which is located in the state of Kentucky. Both his undergraduate education and his graduate education were completed at Murray State University.
Zachary had a profound appreciation for being able to spend time in nature and was a devoted gardener. In addition to his work at Carhartt, he was an involved member of the Hanson United Methodist Church. He had been a member of the church for many years. Both sets of his grandparents had passed away before he was born; his maternal grandparents, Sandra and Jim Stinson, as well as his paternal grandparents, Bob and Janice Higgins. Before he was born, they were all gone.
Among the members of his family who have made it through this tragedy are his sister, Abigail Bennett Higgins, who lives in Lexington, Kentucky; his grandparents, Rex and Maxine Bennett, who live in Lyon County, Kentucky; his aunts and uncles, Amy and Tyson Martin and Brent Bennett, all of whom live in Lyon County; Stacia and Kenny Vetter, who live in Nashville, Tennessee; and, of course, his much-loved dog, Curt. In addition, his parents are recognized among those who have triumphed despite the challenges they have faced throughout this testing period.
On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the funeral service that will be held in honor of the person who has passed away will take place at the chapel of Harris Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held in memory of the person who has passed away. The funeral and burial will be held in Hanson Cemetery immediately after the conclusion of the service. On Saturday, visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and continue until the time of the funeral service, which will begin at 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at the funeral home.
