Walter Phipps Obituary, Death – On November 15, 2022, Walter Ray “Walt” Phipps, who was 44 years old and lived in Hockessin, Delaware, passed away suddenly. Even after he passed away, Walt’s brilliance remained at the same high level. His grin had the power to lift the spirits of everyone in the room. He had a lot of fun dancing and acting out ridiculous characters. Above all else, he cherished his responsibilities as a father the most. They were the focal point of his world, and as a result, he did everything in his power to cater to their requirements.

He was a devoted sports fan and a huge supporter of the Green Bay Packers, in spite of the fact that the team had a below-average season. Walt was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed spending his time on vacation in Tennessee and at the beach, as well as going to casinos and playing Bingo. He was open to placing his money on just about anything. Walt never came into contact with anyone who was not already one of his friends. He had a huge heart, and all of us are going to miss him very much. His maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Walter Eastridge, and his paternal grandmother, Trudy Thompson, as well as his sisters, Tracy and Andrea, and his cousins, Matt and Jess, all passed away before Walter did.

His mother, Patty (Paul) Houck; his father, Dennis (Cindy) Phipps, Sr.; his children, Taylor Phipps, Morgan Phipps, Austin Phipps, Chloe Phipps, and Kaitlyn Cool; his fiancée, Nicole Tweedy; and his siblings, Austin Phipps and Chloe Phipps are among those who will carry on his legacy after he passes away. Dennis (Palma) Phipps, Jr., Sam (Lex) Phipps, Vinny (Kim) Houck, and Rick (Kayla) Houck; sister Heather Vandegrift; Amy Cook, mother of his three oldest children; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, including too many MQD friends to name (you know who you are), Delaware City friends, and Florida friends. Dennis will be deeply missed Also

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who helped him during his recovery, particularly the folks at the Firm Foundation. On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, there will be a visitation held from nine in the morning until eleven in the morning at the Strano and Feeley Family Funeral Home, which is located at 635 Churchmans Road in Newark. The memorial service for him will begin at 11 in the morning and will be a time to honor and celebrate his life. Everyone in the family and all of their friends are welcome to come. Following the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at the Gracelawn Memorial Park.
