Vutulongo Tuineau Obituary, Death -Greetings to each and every one of my Christian Brothers and Sisters!
Sr. Vutulongo Tuineau MSC entered eternity on November 16th, 2022, and our Diocese is deeply sorry to inform you of her passing. She was taken to be with the Lord on that day. Sr. Vutulongo had lived for 51 years before she passed away. Her accomplishments spanned a wide range of fields.

In 1992, she was presented with the chance to work her way up to the position of aspirant at St. Christopher’s Home. She responded favorably to this summons. The island of Vava’u, which is a part of the Kingdom of Tonga, was where Sr. Vutulongo MSC was born and raised. In 1996, Sr. Vutulongo became a nun by making her First Profession of Vows. She was given the name “Vutulongo.” She continued her career right up until the year 1998, when she appeared in the film Final Vows.

We give thanks to God for the privilege of having her in our lives and for everything she has done to advance the mission of the church. We ask that you remember Sister Kalolaine, her family, the staff at the monastery, and the children in your prayers during this time of loss and suffering. We ask that you remember all of them in prayer.
In the days that will follow, we will put the finishing touches on the specifics of the funeral announcements.

Let us pray: Merciful God, nothing in death or life, in the world as it is or the world as it shall be, nothing in all of creation can separate us from the love that you have for us. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Savior of the world. We put our faith in the capable hands of your organization to look after Sr. Vutulongo. She deserves to feel the warm embrace of your compassion; give it to her.

Lord, bless her both as she goes to her eternal rest and as she is resurrected in you. For the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, please bless the people whose hearts are heavy with grief and grant them the knowledge that there is always the possibility that the deceased will be raised from the dead.
Amen. I pray that her spirit is at peace for all eternity and that she ascends to the heavens in glory.
