Vernie Dilbeck Obituary, Death – We are saddened to let you know that retired Sergeant Vernie Dilbeck has passed away, and we do so with a heavy heart and with a great deal of sympathy. We must break the news to you that he has passed away, and we do so with heavy hearts. It is with a heavy heart that I have to break the news to you that this will be the course that we will continue to take as we move forward in time. He spent every day of his life with the purpose of one day serving his country in some capacity, and he never deviated from the path he had mapped out for himself to reach the goal he had established for himself to accomplish that.
After working for the agency for more than 20 years and providing service to the citizens of Cobb County throughout that time, he retired from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office with the rank of Sergeant. During his tenure with the agency, he was able to advance through the ranks. During the course of his employment, he received multiple promotions. During his time there, he was able to protect the residents of Cobb County and meet their requirements in a way that was satisfactory to them. During the course of his employment at the company, he was promoted to increasingly responsible positions on multiple occasions.
During the time that he was employed there, he was in charge of making certain that the community maintained its high level of health, safety, and overall well-being. Because he was working there, he was the one who was responsible for this. During this trying time, we want the family and friends of this extraordinary individual to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers and that we are thinking about and praying for them. We also want them to know that we are thinking about and praying for them. Additionally, we want them to be aware that we are contemplating and praying for them at this time. In addition, we want them to be aware that during this time we are thinking about and praying for them both individually and collectively. You will under no circumstances be allowed to dwindle away into obscurity, and we will not give that permission.
