Toni Sheets Obituary, Death – Toni Sheets, 52, lost her valiant 10-year battle with cancer in a peaceful home death with her husband and mother by her side. Toni is survived by her husband of 25 years, Lawrence David Sheets, and her sons, Grayson and Gabe Dewitt Sheets, who both attend Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. the domestic David Sheets Her mother Elizabeth Tuttle of Mount Sidney, Virginia, her brother Wayne Puckett and Penny, as well as her niece Lucia and nephew Max of Tahoe City, California, were also present. Bethany, Kelly, Joan, and Karen were some of her closest pals.
These individuals, along with a great number more, grieve Toni’s passing and will always remember the joy, laughter, insight, support, and inspiration she brought into their lives. Toni was a passionate and caring mother and wife who placed a high value on being there for her family. Her mother, as well as her brother and his family, were adored and cherished. A wonderful presence has left our planet, and her loss has permanently changed everyone’s perception of it.
Toni was born in Eden, North Carolina, graduated from Morehead High School in 1988, and went on to James Madison University and Shenandoah University to complete her education. She worked as an elementary school teacher in NC at Monroeton Elementary and VA’s Stuarts Draft and Clymore Elementary Schools. She worked as an instructional technology resource teacher and an assistive technology resource teacher for Augusta County Schools in Virginia after receiving her master’s degree. She has worked with Harrisonburg City (VA) Schools for the past 11 years as a technology coordinator and instructional technology resource teacher. Since 2014, she has also held the position of executive director of technology.
Arrangements: Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 19, starting at 5 p.m. at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church. Mount Sidney, Virginia 24467; 160 Mt. Pisgah Road Donations in Toni’s memory can be made to causes that mean a lot to her.
