Terry Nye Obituary, Death – Terry J. Nye, who was a patient at the UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, passed away on Thursday of this week. Before the couple finally got divorced after a combined total of 26 years of marriage, he was married to his wife, Trudi B. (Grandstaff) Nye. Hanover is the place where Terry’s birth took place on February 4th, 1964. He is the son of Troy Nye, who passed away, and Richard and Mary J. (Gantz) Wright, who both passed away. Before he was even born, both of his parents had already passed away.
Terry served in the United States Marine Corps for a period of time and later became a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. Terry was a selfless and incredibly faithful husband who was devoted to his wife. He would do anything for her. His hands were capable of almost anything, he figured out how to make anything work, and he could build anything he set his mind to. He was a genius. He was skilled in a wide variety of trades and could produce anything imaginable. Terry was the rock upon which our family was built, the voice of reason when we were in the midst of chaos, and he loved each and every one of us with every ounce of his being.
Terry is survived by many members of his family, including his wife Trudi, a daughter named Kayli B. Nye of Dillsburg, a son named Ethan L. A funeral or memorial service will be held at a later date in memory of the person who passed away. The Feiser Funeral Home, which is located in East Berlin at 306 Harrisburg Street, is in charge of making the necessary preparations at this time.
