Teena Duckworth Obituary, Death – On the morning of Monday, November 21, 2022, at the age of 66, Teena McClendon Duckworth passed away at The Citadel at Mooresville in Mooresville, North Carolina. At the time, her permanent home was located in Statesville, which is located in North Carolina. Her parents, Jessie and Nettie Owen McClendon, had both passed away prior to her birth on August 29, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was their only child and the only child of Jessie and Nettie Owen McClendon. Before she was even born, neither of her parents were still alive anymore.
Mrs. Duckworth was a devoted member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church as well as an active participant in the Charlotte community. She took a great deal of satisfaction in the fact that she was able to provide emotional support to her children and grandchildren, in addition to acting as a Team mom, a Room mom, and being the most incredible cheer Nana that has ever existed. Her parents, Johnny D. Duckworth, and all of her siblings and parents passed away before she did. Her husband, also named Johnny D. Duckworth, also died before she did. Her passing came after the deaths of both of her parents, who preceded her own.
Her children Dawn Caldwell and her husband Kenny, Stacy Barberio and her husband Jimmie, and Ron Duckworth and his wife Shawmarie are the only ones who will remember her after her passing. In addition, she is survived by her cherished grandchildren Madison Mederios and her husband Chandler, Blake Dockery, Dakota Duckworth, Mallory Caldwell, Mason Caldwell and his wife Bri, Whitney Harper, Braden Barberio, Morgan Caldwell, Jalie Barberio, and Brock Barberio. Madison Mederios and her husband Chandler are also among those who survive her. She has left us. At this time, there are no plans in place to hold any memorial services or other types of celebrations in honor of the deceased.
