Sumita Dixit Obituary, Death – On October 14, 2022, one of the kindest and most beautiful souls who had spent her entire life working to improve the conditions on our world passed away. She had given her life to the cause. She had devoted a great deal of effort into bettering the living situations of other people. Although it had been many years since I had seen Sumita Dixit in person, I had always observed from the sidelines as she lived a life that served as a model for others to emulate. Sumita Dixit was one of the closest friends I have ever had, and although it had been many years since I had last seen her in person, I had always observed from the sidelines as she lived a life that served as a model for others to emulate
In addition to being a diplomat, a wife, a mother, a sister, and a daughter, she was a remarkable person in her own right. She was also a daughter. She was constantly present in my thoughts; there was never a time when I did not think about her. She was an important figure in my life during the formative years when I was younger. Even at this late date, every single one of the conversations that took place between you and I is crystal clear in my mind. She had been sick for a number of years and had fought to overcome a serious condition known as ARDS. This condition had a negative influence on her lungs to the extent that she had to live with oxygen after surviving a coma and being kept apart from her family because of the risk of covid. She had fought to overcome this condition because it had a negative impact on her lungs to the extent that she had to live with oxygen.
However, she fought back with such tenacity that she even taught herself how to walk again after she had lost the capacity to do so. She did this because she was determined to regain her independence. In spite of the fact that she need her oxygen at all times, she was able to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges and successfully represent her country at the OPWC, an organization that strives to eliminate weapons of mass devastation. Because of this, I felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. Exceptional. To her immediate family, which consists of her three children, Simon, Ishaan, and Riya, as well as their mother, Veeba, and their sisters, Simmi and Jaya. I’m sorry to hear about the loss you suffered.
