Skye Richendrfer Obituary, Death – Skye Richendrfer, Executive Director Of Celtic Arts Foundation has passed away. A few months ago, Skye received the news that she has cancer. Skye was going through rigorous treatment, and we were all keeping our fingers crossed that she would have a positive reaction and outcome. Unfortunately, over the course of the past week, Skye endured a number of serious complications; therefore, it is with a great deal of regret that we must inform you that Skye has passed away. Your passing has left us with a profound sense of loss. We intend to carry on with our mission of “sponsoring, encouraging, and promoting Celtic Culture through events and educational activities,” in spite of the fact that this is a significant loss for his family, our community, and the Celtic Arts Foundation.
Skye would be pleased if we continued to honor his legacy at CAF by presenting high-quality programming with a Celtic focus as he had done in the past. We are going to keep providing events, concerts, and programs despite the fact that we will have to face and overcome a lot of challenges during this period of transition. We are grateful to you for your patience and ongoing support as we move forward, and it is our hope that we will have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. The family of Skye would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in advance for their condolences and well wishes, but they would also appreciate some privacy during this difficult time so that they can grieve in their own time.
In approximately one week, they will be better prepared to receive calls, texts, visits, and other similar forms of communication. Before beginning the process of planning his memorial service, Skye’s family will take some time to grieve and reflect. We anticipate that a significant number of you will have an interest in taking part. From what we can tell right now, this won’t occur for a considerable amount of time in the future. You can expect an update from us as soon as we have any new information to share. Skye would like to take this opportunity to express her gratitude to each of you for your participation in the Celtic Arts Foundation, as well as for the support and friendship you have shown to her throughout this journey.
