Shawn Lovett Obituary, Death – Shawn Lovett of Kingston Ontario has passed away. On November 29, he was born in Danville to Tawnya L. Redos of Westport and Shawn M. Lovett of South Renovo. He was the ideal child, always polite and well-behaved. Shawn began wrestling at the age of five. He competed for Bucktail Wrestling Club, Central Mountain Wrestling Club, and Mat-Town USA Wrestling Club, where he met and admired his long-term instructor, Neil Turner. He played tight end, defensive end, and left tackle for Bucktail for numerous years.
Shawn was a member of the Upward Bound National Honor Society when he graduated from Bucktail Area High School in 2016. He subsequently became a dog handler and trainer for a non-profit dog rescue organization. Shawn was always known as an elderly spirit with amazing insight and knowledge, despite the years he lived on Earth. He was a curious person who valued new experiences as well as meaningful contacts with family and friends. He spoke Spanish very well.
Shawn was endowed with a positive attitude, which he was able to transfer to others around him. He lived his life selflessly, always considering and assisting others. He would not be hesitant to advocate for those who could not advocate for themselves, the ‘underdogs.’ He saw the good in every situation and person. Shawn’s love was writing, and he produced pieces that were both imaginative and poetic. He’d just finished his first novel. Shawn also enjoyed spending time with his pets, especially Coco. He liked to read and go on walks.
Shawn is survived by his sister, Felisha L. Kelley of Lock Haven; his maternal grandfather, John F. Redos, Sr. of South Renovo; his maternal grandmother, Deborah S. (Robert) Clarke of Lancaster; his paternal grandmother, Karen M. Stone of South Renovo; and three uncles, John F. Redos, Jr. of Lancaster, James M. (Brigid) Redos of Cogan Station, and Kyle Redos of Lancaster Chuck Lovett, his great-grandfather, Francis Lovett and Donna Lovett, as well as his great-uncle, Harry “Mooch” Probst, all passed away before him.
