Sayer, Pennsylvania is the place where she was born on October 28th, 1942. Her parents, Emmett and Agnes Ault, both passed away before she was born. Sharon received her secondary education and graduated from Providence High School in San Antonio, Texas, which is located in the state of Texas. Before getting married to Lyle and moving to Missouri with him, she obtained her education from Texas Women’s University. Prior to that, she lived in Texas. Sharon’s entire life has been spent in the Warrensburg/Holden area, beginning when she was just a young child and continuing up until the present day.

Before she took her retirement in 1999, she spent a significant portion of her career working as a payroll clerk for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. She was a devoted mother and grandma, in addition to having been an educator in the past. Crocheting, bowling, and, when she was younger, playing softball were some of the things that brought her joy. She was a longtime member of the Warrensburg USBC organization and during her tenure there, she was awarded a great deal of bowling hardware and accolades.

When Sharon went somewhere, she always brought a smile, some laughter, and a whole lot of love with her. Everyone will grieve her passing in their own unique ways.
Both of Sharon’s older siblings, Susan Doane and Francis Chandler, had already passed away when she was still in her mother’s womb. Sharon was preceded in death by both of her siblings, in addition to her parents, when she passed away.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Lyle Marlott; her children, Wayne (Debi), John, Scott (Bill), Matthew, and Andrew (Sarah); her grandchildren, Lilly, Jordan, Austin, Samantha, and Justice; a sister, Mary Patrick; and a large number of nieces and nephews. She passed away on November 15, 2018. The 15th of April 2019 was the day she passed away.
