Sarah Tomlinson Obituary, Death – Guelph’s LaPointe-Fisher Nursing Home was the location of the event on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, and it took place there. Sarah (Sadie) C. Tomlinson, whose family name was Mills and who passed away at the age of 88, was a loyal woman who had been married to the late Charles Chandler (1990) and the late Reginald Tomlinson. Sarah (Sadie) C. Tomlinson’s maiden name was Mills (1990). She was the cherished mother of Debbie, who was married to Robert Harvey, Christopher James, and the late Craig Tomlinson (1999), in addition to the late Janet Chandler (2007).
Marley Tomlinson, Daniel Harvey, and Steven Harvey all had a great deal of affection and love for their grandma Sarah. She was the devoted sister of those who have since passed away, including Joyce Frank, Shirley Ricketts, Ruth Mills, David Mills, Sydney Mills, Phyllis DeJong, and Heather Mills. All of these individuals are no longer with us today. Sincere appreciation is offered to the staff members of the LaPointe-Fisher Nursing Home for the consideration and support they have shown to Sarah over the course of the past few years.
A private funeral service was held for the family at the graveyard in Guelph’s Woodlawn Memorial Park on the day of the burial. The Best of Friends Band will be performing at a celebration of Sarah’s life that will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 234, which can be found at 57 Watson Pkwy. S. in Guelph. This event will be held in honor of Sarah and will be held in her memory. As a show of condolence for the family’s loss, contributions to any charitable organization of the donor’s choosing would be very much appreciated by them.
