Ronald Richardson Obituary, Death – On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Ronald E. “Ronnie” Richardson Jr. of Peoria passed on to the joy of God’s love. On January 4, 1975, Ron and Christine, his identical twin, was born. Jake, his cherished kid, his mother Deborah Richardson, and her husband Dr. Patrick Elwood, his twin sister Christine Brown and her husband Nick Brown, younger brother Randy Richardson and his wife Brandy Richardson, and his grandmother Deborah Richardson all survive him. Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his grandma Alberta Scudder also survives. His grandfather Frank Scudder, father Ronald Richardson Sr., and paternal grandparents Lawrence and Ethel Richardson all passed away before him.

Ron was a St. Francis School of Nursing alumnus. He continued his schooling at SIUE and earned his CRNA in 2010, graduating with honors. Prior to joining the Associated Anesthesiologists of Peoria, Ron worked for McLean County Anesthesiology. In his spare time, Ron likes to exercise and hang out with his son, Jake. Jake and Ron were paired up frequently. They shared a common interest in Cub Scouts. With Randy and Randy’s son, Brady, Ron, and Jake enjoyed designing, building, and racing Pine Wood Derby Cars.

The bond between Ron and Christine, his identical twin sister, was quite strong. They communicated back and forth by text and phone for many hours, chatting about life and how they could each tell when the other was going through a big deal. They each had the impression that they made up only half of a whole person. They detested spending too much time apart from one another.

Ron always regarded his mother’s advice and had a great love for her. Ron was motivated by Deborah in both his personal and professional life. Andrew Akers, Alec Brown, Hannah Brown, Holland Brown, and Brady Richardson, his nieces and nephews, will sincerely miss Ron’s sharp humor and “Uncle” jokes.
