Phyllis Walker Obituary, Death – On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Phyllis Carol Brewer Walker, who had been a resident of Huntland all her life, passed away. At the time of her passing, she had reached the age of 64 years old. She was born on September 2, 1958, in Franklin County to the late Jessie Raulston and Lorna Reva (Hawkins) Brewer. Her father’s name was Jessie Raulston. At that time, her occupation was that of a caregiver, and she worked full-time in that capacity. The moments that Phyllis was able to share with her loved ones, in particular the time she got to spend with her grandchildren, were the ones that she cherished the most. She valued the time she was able to spend with her family the most, despite the fact that she enjoyed going shopping and taking vacations to places like Gatlinburg and Panama City Beach.

Her loved ones and friends are going to miss her because she was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who were in need. She had a good nature. She was a devoted member of the Huntland First Baptist Church, which she attended on a consistent basis, particularly on Sundays. Phyllis is survived by her devoted husband of forty-six years, Roger Walker of Huntland; her children, Dustin Walker (Ginnie Bush) and Clint Walker (Kelli Whitaker), both of Huntland; her bonus daughter, Jamie Walker; her grandchildren, Ethin, Millie, Sophia, Madison, and Jacob; her siblings, Stanley (Debbie) Brewer of Lakeland, Florida, and Randall (Pam) Brewer of Winchester; in addition to several Visitation will be held at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home on the evening of Tuesday, November 22, 2022, beginning at five o’clock and continuing until eight o’clock.
