Peter Keller Obituary, Death – An announcement released by the Bowers Museum states that Peter C. Keller, CEO and President of the museum, passed away on Thursday at the age of 75. The announcement was made by the museum. The news of Keller’s passing death was disclosed by Kelly Bishop, a spokeswoman for the museum that is located in Santa Ana. Keller passed away on Tuesday night. The museum said in a statement that he finished his last day on the job by “putting in a full day of work in preparation for the launch of an excellent exhibition that he was very proud of, ‘Guo Pei: Art of Couture,’ followed by supper with his wife.”

According to the statement, he was very proud of the exhibition. “Because of his leadership and experience, we have been able to bring great exhibits from all over the world to Orange County,” said Anne Shih, the chair and board of governors of the museum. “We are so grateful for his contributions.” “He has been of great assistance to us in navigating the process.” Keller was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and attended George Washington University to earn a bachelor’s degree in geology. For a number of years, he was employed in the field of geology.

He obtained both his master’s and doctoral degrees in geology from the University of Texas at Austin, which he attended. Both of these degrees are in the field of geology. In 1991, Keller began his career at Bowers as an employee. Before then, he worked at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County for almost ten years, where he held the position of director of instruction at the Gemological Institute of America. Prior to that, he worked there for approximately 10 years. Keller will be laid to rest in the ceremony that is kept private in his hometown, and there are already preparations being made for a memorial service that will be held to celebrate his life. In lieu of sending flowers, the family has asked that contributions be sent to the Bowers Museum through the website www.bowers.org/donate.
