Paul Taylor Obituary, Death – Addison House is saddened to inform you of the passing of Paul E. Taylor, III, who was a founding member of our organization. Addison House was one of the organizations that Paul E. Taylor, III helped establish. One of the very first homeless shelters in the United States was called Addison House. With a heavy feeling in our stomachs, we are delivering this information to you at this time.

Paul will be greatly missed by each and every one of us as a result of the fact that he was a member of our community who was both well-liked and highly respected. After hearing the news of his passing, we will all feel a profound sense of loss. The last hours of Paul’s life were spent in tranquility and comfort, in the reassuring setting of his own home, and surrounded by the people who had been most important to him throughout his entire life. This morning he took his final breath.

Since Paul’s arrival at Addison House in 2015, when we were in the midst of expanding from one home to two homes, he has been an essential component of the organization’s growth as well as its leadership. This expansion took place while Addison House was in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
