Patricia Keck Obituary, Death -On November 13, 2022, Patricia “Pat” Gail Keck, who was 77 years old, passed away in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by those she loved. On June 18, 1945, Pat Brashear was born to parents Sam and Jimmie Brashear in Bowie, Texas. On June 26, 1964, in Nocona, Texas, she wed the man who would become the love of her life, David Keck.

Pat’s second biggest passion, after her family, was the Nocona Independent School District (ISD), where she was a member of the Board of Trustees for an incredible twenty years. She was a constant presence at any event that took place at the Nocona school, be it a band competition, an athletic contest, a one-act play show, or an FFA show.

In the event that students from Nocona were involved, there was a good chance that Pat would show up to show his support for the orange and black. Pat’s parents and the man she had been married to for 56 years, David, passed away before she did. In addition, there is a sister named Carol McDonald. Pat is survived by his three sons and their spouses: Kyle and Leslie, who live in Nocona; Wesley and Tiffaney, who live in Decatur; and Brad and Missy, who live in Ryan, Oklahoma.

One brother, Garry “Butch” Brashear, who lives in Sunset, and one sister, Karen Payne, who lives in Cleburne. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, in addition to a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister-in-laws. On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 6 to 7 o’clock in the evening, there will be a visitation held at the chapel of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Nocona, Texas on November 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., with Minister Austin Wright presiding over the ceremony. After the service, the burial will take place at Nocona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Keck, Trysten Vakoc, Kaden Keck, Jettsen Keck, Corbin Gantt, Dereck Bonilla, John Bowser, Ti Caughman, Tyler Richards, Korbin Storrs. Donations in memory of the deceased can be sent to the Nocona Athletic Booster Club.
