Patricia Greene Obituary, Death – Patricia Greene has died. Daughter of Bridgewater’s George and Betty Greene. Patricia began her job at the Lunenburg fish processing plant. She returned to NSCC in Bridgewater and graduated with a diploma in practical nursing. Patricia is an expert in her profession. After graduation, she enjoyed working on the surgery floor at SSRH. Lunenburg County Home Support was her most recent employer. This was her big break.
To her, it was more than simply a job. She treated each of her customers as if they were family. Her career was cut short in 2014 owing to a health worsening. Adversity never deterred her. She’d work a 12-hour shift, then come home to do barn chores, housework, or whatever else was needed before going back to work the next day. Patricia adored animals, whether they were cattle, horses, or her two German Shepards, Jack and Axel. Her heart was devastated when Jack and Axel died.
When she needed someone to fill a need, Sassy stepped in. Sassy was her rescue dog, but she always claimed Sassy was the one who saved her. Sassy was quite helpful and remained with her till the very end. Patricia met new people wherever she went. She was always willing to assist others since it made her happy. She had the most contagious laugh, and once she started, she couldn’t stop. If you were lucky enough to hear her laugh until all she could manage was a wheeze, please remember her in that way; it’s what she would have wanted. Patricia is survived by her only daughter, Erin Page-McAuley (Rick), sister, Beth (Alex) Greene-Muise, nephews Tyler, Tristan (Belinda), and Joseph (Dominique), favorite niece, Tegan (Ryan), great nephew Trenton, and great niece Brooklyn. Bobby Greene, her brother, died before her.
