Pamela Amato Obituary, Death – Pamela J. Amato, who was 55 years old at the time of her death in 2022, passed away at home. Her loved ones gushed over her. The 15th of July, 1967 was the day when Frederick and Jane Bukowski Schanstine became parents to their daughter. Pam attended Kutztown University, where she received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in school counseling. During her time at the university, Pam’s primary sport was field hockey. In her role as school counselor in Nazareth, Pam assisted a large number of pupils (during her career).

Pam completed the half marathon distance. She liked bicycling, kayaking, and pinochle. Fishing and vacations in Canada were two of Pam’s favorite things. Her attention was riveted on Bethany Beach. She became very competitive on game nights with the family. She was in charge of coordinating Booster Club dinners. Pam went to school at the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Bath. Pam is a fan of both the Food Network and cooking competitions. She had a preference for country music. Pam had concern. She is real, modest, hilarious, and resilient all at the same time. Her bravery during those 12 years was truly astounding.

In spite of the concerns over her health, she never complained. Many people were moved by Pam’s charity. She was a huge fan of tailgating at Penn State. Pam placed an emphasis on her family. Rosario “Rusty” A. Amato Jr., her husband of only 17 years, and their three children will live on when she passes away. The Schanstine family survives, including Fred, Jane, Kirk, and April.
