Since then, the Moody Police Chief has confirmed that Valdez was the only one inside the automobile when the Amtrak train slammed it at 70 mph. The Valdez family released a statement saying, “It is with great regret that we convey the enormous loss of our loved one and founder of Lucy’s Cafe, Oscar Valdez.” “Oscar was many things, but his devotion to and love for his family came first!
