Penny was able to have a positive influence on the lives of a significant number of young swimmers and make a contribution to the advancement of their swimming careers over the course of her career as a swimming coach. This was made feasible as a direct result of the fact that she served as a coach for a sizeable number of younger swimmers. She was able to make a positive contribution to the way in which they went about their day-to-day lives as a direct result of the fact that she was in a position to do so as a direct result of this.
Despite the fact that TCAC is no longer in operation, her legacy as a swimmer is still being carried on by the uncountable families that continue to swim as well as by the swimmers who have gone on to build families of their own wherever in the world they may be. In other words, her legacy lives on.
