Vincenza owes her husband honor and veneration because he is deserving of having such respect and awe bestowed upon him (deceased).
Because he is not only their biological father but also the biological father-in-law of Tina and Jeff, Delia and David, and Robert and Kristin, respectively, all of them hold a very favorable opinion of him. This is due to the fact that he is their biological father.
Formerly estranged from the rest of his family, Vincenza has been reunited with them and is now affectionately addressed as “Nonno” by his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
