Mike Barry Obituary, Death -Michael “Mike” Barry, who was 71 years old at the time of his death on September 18, 2022, passed away at the Gaylord facility known as Bayside Manor. Before moving to Arlington, he lived in Glencoe, which is where his current home is located. He has since left Glencoe.
The Celebration of Life will take place between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., and attendees are free to arrive and depart at any time during the event, as long as they do so before or after the scheduled start time. On Tuesday, October 4th, the wake and funeral will be held at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington.
Mike Barry, the son of Thomas and Phyllis (Luke) Barry, was born in Glencoe on July 18, 1951. Mike is their only child. Michael Thomas Luke Barry is his full name. His middle name is Luke. They do not have any other children besides him. Mike made the decision to continue his education after completing his high schooling by signing up for a course at a community or technical college after he received his diploma.
Mike held the position of tool room supervisor at Hutchinson Technology for a sizeable portion of his employment there at Hutchinson Technology. In his spare time, he enjoyed nothing more than going for walks in the fresh air while listening to music.
Mike was a one-of-a-kind individual who possessed a keen sense of humor and was always eager to have a good time. He was always game for an adventure. Those who knew him can attest to the fact that he had an excellent eye for detail, that he was a craftsman, and that he enjoyed constructing things, particularly ones made of wood.
This is something that can be corroborated by those who knew him. This is something that can be verified by speaking to people who were familiar with him. Not only did he do this for a living, but it was also one of his primary interests. He was an engineer. Going for a walk in the fresh air, turning on some music, and taking in the sights and sounds of the natural world around him was something that brought him a great deal of pleasure.
