Mike Asher Obituary, Death – Mike Asher, who resided in Princeton and was 58 years old at the time of his death on November 19, 2022, passed away while he was at his home. Mike Asher was born on February 11, 1964, to parents named Louis Edward and Myrtle Mae Carner Asher. Sadly, both of Mike’s parents have passed away since he was born. He was a member of both the Highland and Union Grove Baptist Church in addition to his work as a boilermaker for Sterling.
Mike’s grandchildren were the source of the greatest joy in his life, and he treasured every moment he got to spend with them. He filled his spare time with activities such as playing the guitar, going fishing, and cooking barbecue for his loved ones and close friends. He is survived by his daughter Brittni (Chad) Curry of Princeton, his girlfriend Tonya Beckner, his sisters Myrtle Asher and Shelei Asher, both of Providence, his brothers Robert Asher and Steve Asher, both of Princeton, his grandchildren Drex and Niko Curry, Caiden and Carter Webb, Lillie and Ellie Vickrey, Brylee Thatcher, and Kylee Murphy, and children he raised as if they were his own, Alyn He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Joann Abbott and his brother James Asher. His grandparents also passed away before him. His parents were the first to pass away.
Visitation will begin at twelve o’clock noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, and continue until three o’clock in the afternoon there at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
At three o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, there will be funeral services held at Morgan’s Funeral Home in honor of the deceased. The Reverend Richie McKinney will act as the ceremony’s presiding minister. You are welcome to make contributions to any charity of your choosing in memory of Mike.
