Michael Ward Obituary, Death – On Sunday, Michael Ward, who was 19 years old, abruptly departed away. He was the cherished son of Michael A. Ward and Patricia L. Meadows, both of Attleboro, Massachusetts; the cherished brother of Darby V. Ward, also of Attleboro; the cherished uncle of J.C. Lima, also of Attleboro; the grandson of Anne Meadows of Maine and Janet Ward of Florida; the nephew of Lynne Meadows and W. Michael Meadows, both of Maine; the cousin of Jordan Bridges and Sydnie Brown, both of Maine;

Both of Michael’s grandfathers, William Michael Meadows Jr. and Michael J. Ward Jr., passed away before him. Michael is the last of his line. He was pleased that his late great-grandfather, Louis Mcluer, had been honored with the naming of his middle name. Michael was a member of the graduating class of 2022 from Attleboro High School. Both a welding certification and an OSHA Safety and Health Fundamentals Certificate were awarded to him upon completion of his studies.

Michael was a diligent worker who held positions at a number of local businesses, such as Market Basket, Demers Bros. Rigging and Machinery Movers, Dunkin Donuts, and most recently, at Russell Morin Catering and Events, where he was the kitchen manager. Michael was a dedicated employee. He was a devoted follower of football and also had a passion for music, automobiles, camping, and long road journeys. Michael cherished the time he had to spend with his close pals.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all of Michael’s friends, who had such a deep love and admiration for him, for the assistance and comfort that they have provided in recent days. On Friday, a visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, which is located at 20 Peck Street in Attleboro. Friends and family members are welcome to attend.

On Saturday, at ten in the morning, there will be a service held at the graveside of St. Stephen’s Cemetery, which is located at 683 South Main Street in Attleboro.
