Michael Jones Obituary, Death – Unexpectedly, Michael Jones passed gone. Robert Lloyd Jones, Jr., his stepmother Jan, his parents Shirley Faust, and his brother-in-law Robert Blum predeceased him (Plano, Texas). A memorial service will be conducted at Honsa Funeral Home on Thursday from 1-4 p.m. From 3 to 4 p.m., friends and family are invited to share memories of Mike. Mike, the second of his three siblings, was born in St. Paul on September 24, 1958. He graduated from Tartan High School in 1976. Mike started working at Target after graduating and eventually rose to management. He had no idea that while working at Target, he would run upon Deb, the girl of his dreams and future wife. Evan (who lives in Washington, D.C.) and Caitlin are Mike and Deb’s two children from their 1985 marriage (Minneapolis).

Mike was working on his “honey do” list after recently leaving his Operations Management employment at Simon Premium Outlets. He was eager to get his shot so that he could visit his son in Washington, D.C., with his wife and daughter. Mike really enjoyed watching hockey games with his kid. This past spring, when he could finally watch the Wild, NCAA tournaments, and Minnesota high school tournaments over back-to-back weekends, he particularly relished the opportunity to do so.

He never spoke ill of anyone and went out of his way to lend a helping hand or listen for a few hours. The next time he met you, he would have a new hoodie or lawn care gadget just for you if you asked him where he acquired them. Mike took tremendous delight in building long-lasting bonds with his coworkers, neighbors, and high school friends, whom he loved coaching and guiding.

In addition to his devoted wife Debbie, children Evan and Caitlin, siblings Candy (Ron) Willenbring and Sherry (Joe) Cavallaro, in-laws Robert and Patricia Perkins, Cindy (Paul) Blum-Winters, Mike (Gretchen) Perkins, and Kathy (Mark) Greene, Mike is also survived by his niece Crystal (Dan) Hoefs, nephews Rob Hansen, Mario (Emily) Cavallaro,
