Mercedes Huffman Obituary, Death – Mercedes Adrian Courtney Huffman, 22, died on November 18, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas. Mercedes was born on October 18, 2000, in El Paso, Texas, to William B. Huffman Jr. and Tammy Huffman. Sady was her family’s nickname, and Meche was her best friend’s nickname. Until she was sixteen, she was a military brat. Sady had traveled to many different parts of the world by the age of seven, but her wanderlust did not end there. She enjoyed reading and going to the beach.
Sady was a devout Christian, which was evident in everything she did. She was gentle and caring. Her mother, who was also her best friend, she adored. She made it her mission to help and prioritize others. She was trustworthy and a hard worker. Sady had a beautiful and contagious smile, as well as a generous heart. Her smile could light up the entire room and was unmistakable. Her contagious smile made everyone around her happy. Sady’s pals adored her. She made a difference in everyone’s lives. She was one of the most lovely elderly ladies we’d ever met. Animal rescue was one of her life’s greatest passions. She adored all animals and kept guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, and geckos in her own pet room.
Sady attended West Texas A&M University as a sophomore. She intended to attend veterinary school in order to realize her ultimate goal of opening her own animal sanctuary with her mother and the twenty animals she already possessed. Sady worked at Teddy Jack’s and was in charge of nearly everything. She began as a host, progressed to expo, server, bartender, and finally key manager. Andrea Huffman, her paternal grandmother, died before her. Her mother, Tammy Huffman, and father, William B. Huffman Jr., survive her, as do her brother, Jason Radca; aunts, Tonya Henry, Teresa Huffman, and Melissa Huffman; uncles, Tim Henry, Steve Petroff, and Ricky Petroff; maternal grandparents, Steve Petroff and Betty Petroff; and paternal grandparents, Steve Petroff and Betty Petroff. Greg Corona will officiate at the Celebration of Life at Hillside Christian Church, 6100 S. Soncy Rd., on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
