Mary Hines Obituary, Death – Mary Margaret Hines, age 38, of Hamel, Tennessee, passed away in the Anderson Hospital in Maryville on the 16th of January, 2022. She was born on December 6, 1983 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Her parents, Edward J. and Pamela R. (Brewer) O’Rourke, are still living in Mt. Vernon. Both of her parents are still alive. On May 30, 2009, she tied the knot with Aaron Michael Hines. He does not perish.
She is survived by her two daughters, Aubrey Lanette Hines and Hazel Mae Hines; her three sisters, Jennifer (Ron) Seibel of Toledo, OH, Christine (Philip) Peiman of St. Louis, MO, and Kelley (David) Houseworth of Casper, WY; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Constance (Nicol) Hines of Edwardsville; two brothers-in-law: Joseph (Sheena)
Declan Martin Hines, who was still in Mary’s womb at the time of her passing, also perished. Mary was a devoted wife and mother who chose to raise her family without ever leaving their home. She held her time with her family, her extended family and friends, as well as her beliefs, in the highest regard. She was involved in a number of Christian groups in addition to serving on the board of the St. Boniface School District.
Mary was devoted to her work as a craftsman and had a large circle of friends in addition to her family. She spent a significant portion of her life as a dancer and was passionate about the arts. Mary had great joy in being of service to others, and she will be sorely missed by a large number of individuals. On Thursday, January 20, 2022, visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, which is located at 110 N. Buchanan Street in Edwardsville.
On Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., a Christian burial service will take place at the church, and the Very Reverend Jeffrey Goeckner will preside over the ceremony. St. Boniface Cemetery will be the location of the interment. Donations in memory of Father Boniface can be made to the Catholic Medical Missions Board, Catholic Relief Services, or the St. Boniface Catholic Church.
