Both of these sources can be found in Malta. On Wednesday evening, the sad incident took happened when Kostov was heading along Tower Road in Sliema with another Macedonian national who was riding pillion.
They were unlucky enough to be engaged in a collision with a car that was driven by a Syrian man who is 29 years old, lives in Marsaskala, and dwells in Marsaskala. It was concluded that it was fruitless to attempt to help the victim at the scene, and the man was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Mater Dei Hospital after being transported from the scene. In the crash, the pillion rider, who is 33 years old and resides in San Wann, got severe injuries.
On his Facebook page, Ivan Kostov’s brother Ivan made the unfortunate announcement, and at the same time, he paid tribute to Ivan Kostov’s late brother Martin. As he closed his eyes, he said, “Rest in peace, my brother; you will always be with me in my heart; I will never forget you,” and then he went silent. “Rest in peace, dear brother.” “You are not going to be forgotten by me.”
In the interim, the North Macedonian community in Malta is making a call for donations to aid the family of the deceased individual in moving the remains of the deceased person to North Macedonia. Those who were listening were encouraged by them to “let us display some humanity and unity in these challenging times.” Kostov is the 21st individual to lose their life as a result of a traffic accident in Malta this year.
