Marilyn Bernath Obituary, Death – On November 20, 2022, 77-year-old Marilyn Kaye Bernath, who resided in Elsie, Michigan, passed away at the Divine Life Assisted Living of Haslett West facility in Haslett, which is located in the state of Michigan.
Mr. Thomas J. Bradley will preside over a Memorial Service that will be held at the Smith Family Funeral Homes in Elsie, Michigan on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00 in the morning. The service will take place on the 23rd of November. Funerals and burials are scheduled to take place at the Riverside Cemetery in Elsie, Michigan, at some point in the not too distant future.

Marilyn Moore was born on September 9th, 1945, in Ovid, Michigan, to parents John Wesley Moore and Leila Belle (Mead) Moore. Her birthday is September 9th, and she was born to her parents on that day. She graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. Johns, which is located in the city of St. Johns, in the year 1963. At the St. Cyril’s Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan, on July 31, 1965, Marilyn weds John Martin Bernath. The wedding took place in 1965. The United States of America played host to the event. When he passed away on December 3, 2017, they had been married for a total of 52 years, making it their longest marriage.

Marilyn always looked forward to the weekend so that she could go to the garage sales. Her dogs were her constant companions and traveled with her to all of her destinations. She never left their side for any trip she took. Her favorite pastimes included collecting dolls and items from Home Interiors as well as going out to restaurants. Because Marilyn needed to satisfy her craving for sweets, she was always bringing candy for everyone else to share.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Jerry) Kimball of Eagle, Michigan, and her son Bruce (Deb) Bernath of Nashville, Michigan. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren Melanie (Luke) Hemingway, Stephanie (Josh) Relyea, Gabrielle Bernath, and Danielle Bernath; ten great-grandchildren Ethan, Jacob, Carter, Owen, Joy, Tiffany, Christian, Roman, Gideon, and Natalie; and her sister Her children, parents, and husband all preceded her in death, as did her sister Janice Rademacher. She was the last surviving member of her family.
