Marie Martin Obituary, Death – Marie Kast Martin, age 85, of Salem died away in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the members of her devoted family. She had suffered a minor injury just prior to her passing away. Her parents, Everett and Helen Kast, as well as her husband, Charles R. Martin, all passed away before she did. Her husband was named Charles R. Martin. She did not survive the ordeal despite her best efforts. She entered this world in the year 1937, on March 28th, in the town of Kern, which is located in the state of Virginia.

After more than 23 years of service at the same location, Marie took her retirement from the Salem City Schools, where she had worked in the administrative offices of the Andrew Lewis Middle School. Prior to her retirement, Marie served in that capacity. She had been employed there up until the time of her retirement. Marie is survived by a large number of additional relatives from her family, in addition to her three children, all of whom currently live in the city of Salem. All of her children were born in Salem. Carol Martin, Rick Martin, and Mark Martin are the names of these three children.

On the afternoon of Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon, a memorial service will be held in the chapel of Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, Virginia at the address 606 Snidow Street in honor of the deceased. You can find the address here. The event’s officiant will likely be the Reverend Eddie Kendall, according to the plans for the gathering. On Sunday, the family will begin meeting and greeting guests at one in the afternoon and continue doing so all the way up until the time of the service.

This will begin at one and continue until the service begins. Mrs. Martin’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the hospital’s medical staff and support staff, as well as the members of both teams who work for Good Samaritan Hospice, for the compassionate care that Mrs. Martin received at Lewis Gale Hospital and at Good Samaritan Hospice.
