Mari O’Neill Obituary, Death – Mari O’Neill, who was a Life Member of our organization and passed away not too long ago, fought amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) with all of her strength, but the disease was finally victorious. You are receiving this information with our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience it may cause you. We understand that this may be a difficult time for you. Mari will be remembered for the warmth she brought into the world, her uncompromising dedication to helping those in need, and that contagious smile of hers that could brighten any room. She will also be remembered for the fact that she could brighten any room with her smile.
The fact that she had a smile that could light up a whole room is another thing that people will never forget about her. One more thing about her that people will never be able to forget is the fact that she had a smile so bright it could illuminate a whole room. Dear friend, may you rest in peace knowing that you will always be remembered with affection at GRVAS as the person who best exemplified what it means to be kind in its purest form. May you find comfort in the knowledge that you will always be remembered in this way. Those who had the honor of knowing you will never forget the golden heart that you possessed, but you will be sorely missed by everyone else.
A wake for Mari will be held on Friday, November 18th, at the Dooley Colonial Funeral Home in Westfield, New Jersey (556 Westfield Avenue), and a memorial service for Mari will be held on Saturday, November 19th, at 11:30am at the First Congregational Church in Montclair, New Jersey.
