Margaret Kennedy Obituary, Death – Margaret (Betty) KENNEDY nee Cumiskey, who had been a resident of 27 Daly Park, Silverbridge, and had died away at St. John’s House in Newry on November 10th, 2022, did so in a calm and quiet manner while she was there. Her passing occurred on November 10th, 2022. loving widow of the late Dan; may God grant her husband eternal rest and peace.
Her dearly departed parents, John and Tessie Cumiskey, who passed away before she did, are now together again in a happier place now that she has joined them there. Sister-in-law of Maureen, Caroline, Marie, Ann, and Francis; devoted and adored sister of Nancy, Noel, Jimmy, Peter, Martin, and Teddy; furthermore, sister of Martin and Teddy. a sister-in-law of Francis, Maureen, Caroline, and Marie, as well as Ann and Francis. a kinswoman or relative via marriage of Kathleen, who passed away some time ago. Unfortunately, Kathleen has passed away.
She is taking some time off right now to rest in her old house, which is located at 27 Daly Park in Silverbridge, and she is enjoying every minute of it. On Thursdays, guests are welcome at the WAKE gallery from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., and on Fridays, the gallery is open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aside from that, the house continues to provide the same customary high level of complete and total privacy at all times.
Funeral services will be place on Saturday, November 12, beginning at 10:20 a.m. at her residence and continuing on to St. Brigid’s Church in Glassdrummond (via Fords Cross and down the Cortresla Rd). On the appointed day, they will show up there for a funeral mass that begins at eleven in the morning. Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the burial will take place in a cemetery not far from the church. Her grieving sister, brothers, nephews, and nieces, as well as extended families from both the Kennedy and Cumiskey families, neighbors, and a great number of friends and acquaintances will miss her tremendously. Her death has also left her sister distraught. Flowers will only be received from immediate family members; in lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Southern Area Hospice.
