Marcia Pritchard Obituary, Death – According to the New Hartford Police Department’s report, a female victim of an accident that occurred in New Hartford the previous week and involved three vehicles was unable to recover from the injuries she sustained and passed away on Sunday. The accident involved all three vehicles. She was 71 years old and had a great deal of experience in life at that point.
When Marcia Pritchard, a resident of Clark Mills, was driving down Route 5 on the evening of November 18, at approximately 5:45 p.m., she crossed into the westbound lane and was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle. Marcia suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. She was in critical condition when she arrived at the hospital, where she was taken.
Pamela Merriman, who lives in Rome and is 61 years old, was the person behind the wheel of the other vehicle. She was the one who was in charge of making sure that everything ran smoothly. It was observed that a third vehicle, driven by a man named Steven Raymond who was a resident of Cazenovia, New York, was following very closely behind the vehicle that Merriman was driving. Raymond was 51 years old at the time of the accident, and he was the one who was driving the vehicle when it was involved in the collision.
The information that was provided in the report filed by the police indicates that Raymond was unable to come to a full stop in time, which resulted in the collision that occurred between his vehicle and the back of Merriman’s car.
Merriman and the passenger who was riding with her were both eventually given permission to leave the medical facility after receiving treatment for their injuries there. The medical facility was also able to treat both of their injuries.
Pritchard was taken to the hospital almost immediately after the accident, and she remained in a critical condition all the way up until the time that she passed away from her injuries there. The hospital was the location where she ultimately died from her injuries. She succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the hospital, which was the location where she was taken.
