Louis Marino Obituary, Death – Louis Marino, who was born in Houston, Texas, on September 3, 1946, has recently gone away and is now in heaven. Rosalie Patricia Marino was his mother, and his paternal grandfather was named Louis Joseph Marino Sr. His brothers John Marino, Joseph Marino, and Augustine Marino (Pinto) all passed away before he did. He was the youngest of the three. He was a football player at Mt. Carmel High School, where he attended, and his number was 22. He had a deep affection for his classmates from the class of 1964 and made an effort to keep in touch with them throughout his life. After receiving a football scholarship to attend Wharton Junior College, he was subsequently drafted into the army and sent to service in Vietnam.

On the 21st of November in 1969, he wed the woman who had been the love of his life, Linda Gail Dewberry. And on May 11th, 1976, Louis’s eyes were lit up again by the birth of his son, Landon Marino, a genuine Christian who loves the Lord just as much as his father did. Landon Marino is the reason Louis’s eyes lit up again. Louis and Linda’s deep affection for one other remained constant during their nearly 53 years of marriage. They were inseparable, with the obvious exception of his annual Father-Son hunts, which he looked forward to with a great deal of anticipation.

Following his retirement from the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Kerrville, Texas, Louis continued to pursue his interests, which included hunting, fishing, football, real estate, and the organization of upcoming trips. The time he got to spend with his loved ones was the thing he looked forward to the most.

Louis is survived by his wife, Linda, his son Landon, his daughter-in-law Michelle, and his two granddaughters, Ava and Lily, who were his absolute favorite part of life. Ever since Ava and Lily were born, he has cherished every opportunity to be with them. He took pleasure in going on walks with them and chatting with them, as well as seeing them bake cookies and participate in their school activities. They were a present from God to him.

Now he is finally starting the trip that he has been anticipating his entire life. His faith was so strong, and the knowledge that he is now in Heaven watching over all of us gives us some measure of peace.
