Lois Ball Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, Lois Ann Ball, a resident of Williamson, West Virginia, passed away at the age of 75. Her passing took place at the Tug Valley Regional Medical Center. The 13th of February, 1947 found Lois Ann Dove being brought into the world in Williamson, West Virginia. Her parents, Opie Dove and Louise Fugitt Dove, had both passed away prior to the birth of their daughter, Lois Ann.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sharon Lynn Dove, as well as her brothers Opie Dove Jr., Charles “Whacky” Dove, and Michael Dean Dove. Her grandparents also passed away before she was born. She held the position of pharmacy technician at the Appalachian Regional Hospital pharmacy in South Williamson, Kentucky, for a period of years. She served in a variety of capacities at the Living Stone Church of God for more than forty years, demonstrating an unshakeable devotion to the Lord throughout her life.
Among her surviving loved ones are her children Chester (Paula) Ball, JR and Shawn Ball, both of whom reside in Road Branch, West Virginia. In addition, she is survived by her brothers Ermel Ray Dove of Delbarton, West Virginia, Gary (Tammy) Dove of Williamson, West Virginia, and Kelly Gene (Renee) Dove of Hatfield, Kentucky; her sisters Phyllis Blevins of Nolan, West Virginia, and Danita (Gene) Webb of Lancaster, Ohio; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Gene Dove.
On Monday, November 14, 2022, the chapel at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home will be open for visitors from six o’clock in the evening until nine o’clock in the evening. On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon, Earl White will preside over the funeral services that will be held in the chapel of the funeral home. The services are scheduled to begin at that time. At her funeral, which will take place in the Mountain View Memory Gardens in Maher, West Virginia, her close family members and friends will serve as pallbearers. The R. E. Rogers Funeral Home in Belfry, Kentucky is helping the Ball family during this difficult time by providing them with support and assistance.
