Laquita Gandy Obituary, Death – ST. LOUIS – Laquita Gandy, 45 years old, of the 1100 block of Garden Village Drive in Florissant, Missouri 63031, has been identified as the person who perished in a fatal motor vehicle accident that took place close to the intersection of Halls Ferry Road and Vaile Avenue. The accident took place in the vicinity of the intersection of Halls Ferry Road and Vaile Avenue. The St. Louis County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit and the Accident Reconstruction Unit conducted an investigation into the fatal car accident. Both units were responsible for the investigation.

On November 12, 2022, at 11:48 p.m., officers from the North County Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a motor vehicle accident that had taken place in the vicinity of the intersection of Halls Ferry Road and Vaile Avenue. The caller reported that the accident had involved multiple vehicles. When the officers who were called to the incident arrived, they found that there had been a collision involving two vehicles. An adult male driving a Buick Lacrosse was approaching Vaile Avenue while traveling northbound on Halls Ferry Road. As he crossed into the southbound lanes of Halls Ferry Road, he collided with an adult female driving a Hyundai Sonata that was traveling southbound on Halls Ferry Road.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The preliminary investigation yielded this material for us to consider. Following the collision, the female driver of the Hyundai was transported to a nearby hospital, where she received treatment intended to save her life. Unfortunately, she was unable to recover from her injuries and was subsequently pronounced dead after being admitted to the facility. The driver of the Buick sustained injuries, but those injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, and they were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries. At the present time, this inquiry is still being carried out. When fresh information is obtained, it will be made available to the general public as soon as it can be analyzed.
