Kristin E. Masterski Obituary, Death – (WAFF) MOORES MILL, Alabama – The woman who was killed in a collision on Monday morning on Moores Mill Rd. has been named. Kristin E. Masterski of Hazel Green was killed early on Monday in a collision on Eakins Rd, four miles north of Huntsville, according to ALEA. Head-on contact occurred between Robert Jackson of Harvest’s 2014 Hino truck and Masterski’s 2021 Ford Explorer. On the spot, Masterski was determined to be deceased. Accidents happen frequently on this road, according to Ethan Fitzgerald of the Moores Mill Fire and Rescue.
Fitzgerald stated, “We are seeing a number of incidents on Moores Mill and our side roads.” We have pretty horrible roundabouts, really acute roads that run like this, and they’re building houses right off of them. It’s outrageous that so many people are losing their lives on Moores Mill. Fitzgerald added that the little town will feel the impact of this tragedy. This is undoubtedly a very difficult day for the Moores Mill neighborhood. It’s pretty cramped in here. We are not a corporation,” Fitzgerald declared. Any death is difficult, but for many individuals, this one will be especially difficult. And Moores Mill is witnessing a lot of fatalities, which is totally unacceptable.
Masterski worked as a social worker for Hazel Green Family Schools, according to the Madison County Schools System. Regarding the loss, the system issued the following statement. Our hearts are broken to hear of the departure of Mrs. Kristin Masterski, a social worker with the Hazel Green family of schools in the Madison County School System. When given the chance, Mrs. Masterski was a superb employee who selflessly assisted others. She genuinely cared about her pupils and their families, and she will be sorely missed. We send her family and friends our deepest condolences. They are in our minds and in our prayers.
