Kim Pate Obituary, Death – Kim Pate, who resided in Elizabethton, Tennessee, passed away today after a brief bout with illness that she had been battling. Before Kim was even born, both of her parents, Jack Dempsey Pate and Nellie Jo Fulton Pate, had already passed away. Elizabethton is the city where she was born. Kim is not the only member of her immediate family to have passed away; her nephew Jamie Pate and sister-in-law Darlene Pate both passed away before her. Therefore, she is not the only member of her immediate family to have done so.

Kim was a wonderful person who was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She also had a wonderful relationship with her grandchildren. She possessed a delicate spirit. She had an unwavering commitment to her family, and her granddaughter in particular, and she was constantly busy making preparations for activities that the family would participate in so that she could create cherished memories with them. Kim was endowed with a great deal of artistic ability and inclination; drawing and pottery were two of her favorite artistic pursuits. She was the sole proprietor of her company, which was known as “All About You” and specialized in the production of individualized invitations and stationery.

Everyone who was close to her experienced an overwhelming amount of love and admiration for her. Whether she was with her family or her friends, Kim never missed an opportunity to savor the precious moments that made up her life. She made the most of every chance that presented itself to her. Those who are left to cherish the many wonderful memories left behind by Kim are her devoted husband, Russell Proffitt of the home; her cherished daughter, Hannah Lacy (fiancé Brady Holder); her breathtaking granddaughter, Evie Nell Lacy; her siblings, Cathy (Jim) Timbs, Dannie Pate, Belinda (Tim) Heaton, and Leann Pate; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she cherished deeply
