Keith Vinci Obituary, Death – Keith Vinci, who fought valiantly against Burkitt’s lymphoma, passed away on Thursday after a long and courageous battle with the disease. Vinci served as the assistant athletic director for sports performance. Vinci was currently engaged in his second bout of treatment for the illness. As we mourn his passing and express our condolences to his family and friends, our hearts are heavy today. We are sorry for your loss. I pray that he finds eternal rest. At the time that this article was being written, Vinci was in the midst of his ninth season as a member of the coaching staff for the River Hawks.

Vinci was born and raised in the city of Milford, which is located in the state of Connecticut. Not only will he be remembered for assisting an uncountable number of student-athletes, both in the past and in the present, in achieving their athletic bests, but he will also be remembered for assisting an uncountable number of student-athletes in developing as individuals outside of the realm of sports. He will be missed for both of these contributions to the lives of student-athletes. Both of these contributions were made by him, and they will be missed.

In the very near future, specific information regarding the memorial service that will be held on campus in honor of the person who passed away due to their illness will be communicated to the campus community. Our most sincere condolences go out to each and every member of the Vinci family, as well as to anyone who could count Keith as a friend at some point in their lives. A GoFundMe campaign has been started to help relieve some of the financial strain that is being placed on his family as a result of the significant amount of work that is currently being done by his family.
