Kaitlin Selfridge Obituary, Death – Kaitlin N. Selfridge, age 27, of Oneida Valley Road, Karns City, New York, passed away as a result of the injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle collision on Route 38 early in the morning of Monday, October 31, 2022. She called Karns City her home and was a local inhabitant. Kaitlin was born in the city of Butler on the 10th of October in the year 1995. She was the only child of her parents, Ronald C. and Toni A. Bayless Selfridge, when she was born into their family.
She attended Moniteau School throughout her academic career. She enjoyed several activities, such as listening to music, taking pictures, and spending time with her friends; however, the one she enjoyed the most was being a “Mama” to her three children, whom she referred to as the “loves of her life.” Kaitlin had a job at Sunnyview in the section of the hospital that dealt with nutrition and diet issues.
She is survived by her three children, Danica N. Kerry, age 8, Brooklynn N. Kerry, age 7, and Myles W. Kerry, age 6; three brothers, Travis A. Selfridge, Justin X. Selfridge, and Jason F. Selfridge all of Karns City; two sisters, Chelsea E. Carpenter and her husband Doltin, of Youngstown, and Ciara D. Selfridge of Karns City; her maternal grandparents Gerald and Karen Bayless of Butler; and her paternal grandmother. Her paternal grandfather, Ronald Selfridge Sr., who had preceded her in death, was her paternal grandmother’s father.
The Hile Funeral Home in Chicora, which can be found at 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, hosted a visitation for friends and family on November 3, beginning at four in the afternoon and continuing until seven in the evening. The funeral service started at seven o’clock in the evening and was held at the funeral home. Co-officiating the ceremony were Pastor Brandon Lenhart and associate Pastor Christy Pittman, both of whom are pastors at the North Main Street Church of God in Butler. Both of these individuals are ordained ministers. The burial took place at Hillview Cemetery in the Village of Kepples Corners, which is located in the state of Wisconsin.
