Julia Rossi Obituary, Death – Julia Lee Rossi died on November 14, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Julia had lived in Hamilton, New Jersey her entire life. She went to Our Lady of Sorrows Grammar School and Notre Dame High School, where she lettered in three sports (basketball, soccer, and lacrosse) and was inducted into the National Honor Society. Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Chester University this year, where she excelled academically and athletically. She was a defensive player for the Division 2 Women’s Lacrosse Team for four years, helping her team to countless victories with the precision of her passing and blocking ability.

Julia was adored by her coaches, teammates, and even the audience, who frequently yelled “Rossi” throughout her games. She was a fantastic musician who played multiple instruments, designed tee shirts for her team and others, and worked as a freelance artist. Julia loved animals, especially her dog “Remi.” She was astute and clever, and she enjoyed being outside and snowboarding. Julia was courageous and daring her entire life.

Her biggest passion, though, was for her family, whom she referred to as her “Rock.” Spending time with her family for Sunday dinners, family vacations, and annual trips to Disney and Wildwood was her greatest joy in life. Setting an alarm to shoot the sunrise with Grandpop, going on bike rides with her dad, going shopping with Grandmom, and going for long walks and dancing with her sisters were all among her favorite vacation activities. Julia has a big, loving heart as well as a calm, compassionate spirit. Everyone who knew her adored her because she was nice, compassionate, respectful, and empathetic. She gave so much and asked for so little, blissfully unaware of her power over everyone.

Julia was a loving daughter, sister, grandma, niece, cousin, and the best friend everyone wished for. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her will miss her tremendously. Julia is survived by her parents, Gregory P. and Kirsten M. (Cimini) Rossi; her two sisters, Lianna Rossi and fiance Shane Plunkett, and Olivia Rossi; her maternal grandparents, Frank B. and Mary Lou Cimini; an uncle, John Rossi; and two aunts, Cynthia Rossi and fiance Art Landolfi, and Carolyn Staub.
