Joshua Pruitt Obituary, Death – On November 16, 2022, Joshua Gordon Pruitt, who was a resident of Eden and had the age of 22 at the time of his passing, passed away at the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. On March 14, 2000, Christopher Gordon Pruitt and Teresa Billings Scott brought their son into the world, and they named him Josh. Christopher Gordon Pruitt and Teresa Billings Scott call him Josh. Josh was born in Eden. Eden is his birthplace. He worked in the logistics industry, specifically in the shipping and warehousing fields of the economy. In spite of the fact that Josh enjoyed his job very much, fishing remained the pastime that he looked forward to the most throughout his life.

He is survived by his parents, Christopher Gordon Pruitt of Eden and Teresa Billings Scott and husband Berry of Eden; his grandparents, Douglas and Cynthia Pruitt and Arthur Daniels all of Eden; his great grandmother Barbara Pruitt of Eden; and his aunts, Angel Meeks and husband James of Ridgeway, VA, and Melissa Kaneko and husband James of Eden. Patsy Daniels, Josh’s grandmother, passed away before he was born, so she is considered to have predeceased him. Since she passed away before he was born, she is known as having predeceased him.

One hour prior to the start of the service, there will be a visitation that can be attended at the church beginning at 12:00 PM and continuing until 13:00 PM. Visitation will also take place at other times and locations, including at the homes of the deceased person’s aunt, Melissa Kaneko, located at 218 Conestoga Way in Stoneville, North Carolina, and at the homes of the deceased person’s grandparents, Douglas and Cynthia Pruitt, located at 151 Jane Court in Eden. Both of these locations are in Eden. On the Monday, November 21, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a memorial service held at Charity Baptist Church in memory of the departed. The service will be held in memory of the deceased. The following gathering that is being organized will take place at the Ridge-View Memorial Gardens as the host location.
