Josh Waldrep Obituary, Death – In order to make room for the new time slot, the tip-off time for the women’s basketball game that was scheduled to take place on Saturday against Clark Atlanta has been shifted to 10:00 a.m. The Department of Athletics at UWG and the women’s basketball team came to this conclusion in an effort to honor Josh Waldrep and his achievements in the sport of basketball by paying tribute to him. On Thursday, Josh Waldrep, a member of the staff working at the UWG Athletics Department, left unexpectedly and unexpectedly.

Josh worked for the University of West Georgia in The Coliseum and other sporting arenas for almost to five years, and in all that time, he never once encountered a person there that he did not know. He not only had a beautiful smile, but he also had a chuckle that made everyone else in the room giggle. His smile was really infectious. Josh was a wonderful teammate and brought a great deal of value to the University of West Georgia, according to Trent Ross, who served as the Deputy Athletic Director in 2018 and was in charge of hiring Josh. Josh had been an employee of Trent Ross’s starting in the year 2018, when they began working together.

An eyewitness remarked, “His presence provided enthusiasm to everyone in the room, and we shall miss having him around very much.” “His presence offered excitement to everyone in the room.” “His presence in our lives will be sorely missed by all of us.” As a result of the event starting later than originally planned, members of the UWG athletics staff will be able to make it to both the Celebration of Life Services as well as the visitation that will be conducted for Josh. The Celebration of Life will immediately follow the visitation, which will take place at the Carrollton First United Methodist Church between the hours of twelve and two in the afternoon.

The visitation will take place between the hours of twelve and two in the afternoon. Everyone who is interested in attending to see the game that UWG Athletics will be playing on Saturday against Clark Atlanta will be able to do so without having to pay any kind of entry ticket in order to do so.  The game will be played against Clark Atlanta. This activity is being carried out in honor and memory of Josh. If you go through the checkout process and provide the code “JOSH,” we will give you a complimentary ticket to the women’s basketball game that the Wolves will be playing. In his subsequent statement, Ross continued by saying, “We would want to express our thanks to Clark Atlanta University and the Gulf South Conference for approving our request to commemorate Josh.” [Clark Atlanta University] and [the Gulf South Conference] both granted our request to honor Josh.
