Joseph Fiore Obituary, Death – On Saturday morning, Joseph Fiore passed away unexpectedly at his home in Rockland. He is the son of Rockland residents Joseph Fiore and Carol (Mulkern) Fiore, and he was born in Boston. Joey had spent his entire life in Rockland as a resident. In 1986, he received his diploma from Rockland High School. Joey was a talented athlete who excelled during his time at Rockland High School, where he was a member of the hockey team that won the League Championship in 1986. Joey was an avid participant in a wide variety of other sports, including softball and basketball. He was a devoted follower of all of the professional sports teams that played in the Boston area.
Joey treasured his time spent with his children above all else, particularly when they went to the park together like it was a family tradition. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus post #165 in Rockland and was an active member. Mr. Fiore worked in the sheetrock business for 22 years, during which time he was self-employed.
Cinnamon Jones of Rockland, Joey’s fiancee, is one of the people who will carry on after his passing. He is survived by his parents. He was the devoted father of Makenzi E. Buckley of Rockland and Haiden A. Fiore of Rockland. Rockland native and brother of Anthony Fiore and Michelle Fiore. Rockland residents Maria and Ava Fiore’s uncle.
On Thursday at 8:15 in the morning, a funeral service will take place at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home. After the wake, at nine in the morning, there will be a funeral mass held at Holy Family Church in Rockland. After the funeral, the burial will take place at the Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. The 8th of October will have open calling hours from 5 to 8 in the evening.
