Jordan Jackson Obituary, Death – Officer Jordan Jackson, 34 years old, passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained in a collision that took place early on Monday morning while he was on duty. He had been in the line of duty at the time of the incident. Since the year 2018, Officer Jackson has been an exceptionally valuable contributor to the Bellevue Police Department. Jackson was given a promotion to the position of motorcycle officer in the traffic division after he had worked for the department for a total of two years. Recently, he has been acknowledged for the exceptional level of work that he has been producing on a consistent basis as well as the contributions that he has made to the community. Because of this, he was given the honor of being named employee of the quarter.

Jackson’s manager complimented him on his leadership within the department as well as his eagerness to take on additional responsibilities. Jackson was praised for both of these qualities. According to what Chief Wendell Shirley said, the tragic death of Officer Jackson has left all of us in complete and utter disbelief. We are keeping his wife and two children, along with the rest of his family, friends, and the extended BPD family, in our thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their husband and father. This is a blow that will be extremely detrimental to the entire neighborhood.

Prior to beginning his career as a police officer in March of 2018, Jackson worked as an emergency medical technician, a volunteer firefighter, and as a member of the King County Sheriff’s Officer Search and Rescue Volunteer K-9 Unit. He also volunteered for the King County Sheriff’s Officer Search and Rescue K-9 Unit. After spending his childhood in the city of Spokane, Officer Jackson relocated to Issaquah, where he attended both Issaquah High School and Central Washington University for his formal education. Those he leaves behind include his wife and their two young children together with their extended family.
