John Burrow Obituary, Death – God sent a man named John to the earth. He came as a witness to testify about that light, so that everyone could believe because of him. (NIV) John 1:6-7 (NIV). John “Chuck” Charles Burrow, beloved husband, loving father of two, and friend to many, died on November 14, 2022, in Georgetown, SC.

In Somerville, Tennessee, John was raised by Charles “Charlie” Burrow and Sherry Sanders. He attended Kingsbury High School in Memphis before moving to Charleston, SC, where he met his wife Roxie and built a beautiful family over the course of sixteen years.

Kenley was born in 2008, while Ethan was born in 2007. John was a remarkable man who was strong, brave, and kind. With his wit and charm, he had the incredible ability to light up a room. He was a rebel who proudly lived by his own rules, always fighting for what he believed in and keeping his promises. A true outdoorsman, John could always be found relaxing in his backyard paradise, listening to music, watching the game, or laughing with family and friends.

John enjoyed wheeling and dealing and exploring new markets as a skilled barterer and tradesman. The treasure he discovered over the years piqued people’s interest and made them envious of his abilities. He was a master gardener and barbecue master, and his children dubbed him head chef. He was famous for preparing impossibly large plates of food that no human could possibly eat. He was a giver, a lover, and an extraordinary man.

He was proud of his surname, ancestors, and history. John was a one-of-a-kind light in the world, with an uncanny ability to make new friends wherever he went. He was the life of the party and touched many people’s lives during his brief 40-year career. John “Chuck” Charles Burrow, you will be remembered and missed in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
