Jennifer Casey Obituary, Death – Jennifer Ann Casey, age 56, a native and resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away in a calm and peaceful manner on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Saint Luke’s Hospice House located in Kansas City, Missouri. She arrived into this world on June 7th, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri. Danny and Patricia (Stuart) Brown are the child’s parents. Jennifer attended Blue Springs High School and graduated in the year 1984. She continued her study and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri in Kansas City (UMKC).
The ceremony took place on September 3, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the couple afterwards tied the knot. In Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Jennifer was employed by Abacus CPAs, LLC in the role of Senior Associate. During that time period (2009-2017), she served on the Board of Education for the Blue Springs School District. During the 2016–2017 school year, Jennifer held the position of president on the Board of Education.
She was involved with the PTA on both the district and state levels, in addition to being a member of the Women’s Civic Club of Blue Springs. Both travelling places and being among people were fun activities for Jennifer. Above all else, she treasured the time she had to spend with her friends and family.
Survived by her parents, Danny and Patricia Brown of Grain Valley, Missouri; daughter, Taylor Ocker and husband Kyle of Blue Springs, Missouri; and brother, Bryan Brown and wife Lori of Houston, Texas.
The celebration of Jennifer’s life will take place on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Elk’s Lodge #2509 located at 100 N.E. Brizendine Rd in Blue Springs, Missouri. Her family will be there to greet family and friends. On Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., there will be a service held at the graveside in Blue Springs Cemetery, which is located at 2800 S.W. Walnut St in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be donated to Saint Luke’s Hospice House.
