Jeffrey Fletcher Obituary, Death – After several months of progressively worsening health owing to cognitive heart failure, Jeffrey Ray Fletcher passed away on Saturday in a calm and comfortable setting at his home. He was 71. In the city of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Jeff was brought into the world by his father, Eugene Leroy Fletcher, and his mother, Lillian Gertrude Fletcher. After more than seven years of service in the United States Army as a K9 military dog handler, Jeff developed a deep affection for canines. Before settling down in Parkersburg, West Virginia, he visited Okinawa, Japan, and South Korea on his travels across the world. Soon after, he started a career as a truck driver, and he drove throughout the country for more than 25 years until taking a medical retirement.
His parents, his brother Jennings Fletcher, his stepson Darron Bradley, and his granddaughter Jordan Bradley all passed away before Jeff. There are members of a vast extended family among the survivors. Rebecca J. Fletcher, his wife, is originally from Bedford, Indiana. There are three members of the Fletcher family: brothers Thurman (Marsha) Fletcher and James Fletcher, as well as a half-sister named Rena Bowman. Sister-In-Law Helen Fletcher and niece Billie Fletcher (Hershel Barnhouse) and her children Adelia Fletcher, Sean, and Marissa Kinder. In addition, a grandchild named Kaden Fletcher was able to survive.
