Jeff Burvee Obituary, Death – We want you to know that it is with a sense of profound sorrow that we are informing you of the passing of Deputy Jeff Burvee, Retdemise, and that we do so with a deep sense of regret. The company of his friends and family allowed him to loosen up and feel more at ease in his surroundings. Over the course of more than half a century, Deputy Burvee was able to lend a helping hand to the people living in Johnson County and Miami County as a result of the work that he did for the Overland Park Police Department, the Mission Police Department, and the sheriff’s offices in both Johnson County and Miami County.

This was accomplished by him working as a law enforcement officer in both Johnson County and Miami County at the same time. Deputy Burvee was a beacon of light in the midst of the mayhem, providing everyone with a reason to hold on to some semblance of hope. Spending time in his company and having a conversation with his insightful mind at any given moment was a joyous experience. Near the end of his time working for our Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Burvee was given the opportunity to advance his career to the position of Transport Deputy due to the fact that he was so committed to his work and cared about the other deputies he worked with. As a consequence of this, he earned the respect of not only the staff but also the inmates at the facility.

Over the course of the past few years, Deputy Burvee has bravely battled a variety of illnesses in spite of having to deal with a number of them. He was well-liked and revered by many people, and his absence will be keenly felt by each and every one of them.
